Y.W.O.W.'s Library Collection

Librarian: Gail Gillam

You may check out a book and have a month to enjoy it before returning it to Gail.  Y.W.O.W. asks that make a $15 deposit (a personal check is perfectly acceptable) that will replace the book if it is not returned.  Once the book is returned, you will receive your deposit back.

Donations of books are always and warmly welcomed.  Not all of our books need to be specifically about grief.  Some may be on personal growth, spirituality, self-help or just inspirational material.  We do have a children’s section too.

In our mission statement we strive to provide a "safe environment" to men and women who have lost their spouse too early in life. We define a safe environment to include the physical, emotional and psychological safety of our members. At our functions, we require our members and guests to respect the safety of fellow members and request that everyone exercise an appropriate behavior.
